HISTORY
Background:
Brent Gibson debuted in the HiWF as The Hawk, an aspiring young wrestler with high hopes. Almost immediately, he set his sight's on the one known as Unforgiven Soul, and Soul's International Championship. They carried on a feud that spaned a few months, culminating with Gibson finally defeating Soul and capturing the International Championship. Soon he approached Kevin Powers, about joining Powers' stable, the XwP. Soul interrupted, and gave Gibson an invite to the nUo. Gibson turned Soul down, then teamed up with Powers against Soul and Soul's cousin, Joey G. During the match, Gibson turned on Powers, and joined the nUo. Soon Soul and Gibson started fighting, and Gibson left the nUo, which led to it's demise. Gibson later lost his belt, and didn't win another match in the HiWF. Meanwhile, in the DiWF, Owner/Commissioner Scorbutic noticed Gibson's immense potential and signed him to a DiWF contract. There, Gibson teamed up with Hardkill to form Anti-Trust. In Gibson's first match, he suffered a torn neck muscle and was placed on the disabled list indefinitely. After he underwent surgery, he became a recluse, and barricaded himself in his 2 story flat in Albuquerque for the next year.
 

Gimmick/Personality:
Angry at the world and the DiWF for his loss, he is a loose cannon. You never know which side he's on. He cannot be trusted, but sometimes, he's your only hope. Has strong hatred against owners and superiors. Anyone who tries bossing him around will pay.

Flying Hawk Hawk picks up his opponent in a scoopslam, and deposits him by the corner. He climbs the turnbuckle and performs a top rope Senton Bomb.
Man-In-Motion Hawk runs towards opponent and contorts his body into a powerful twisting Hurracanrana.
Payback Hawk bulldogs his opponent, then walks over to the facedown opponent. He locks their ankles together, grabs opponents wrist, and rolls back, stretching his opponent in a Mexican Surfboard.

The scene opens on Brent's back, pulling on a black jacket.

Chrysta: "Brent, this is crazy. You can't go back. Those maniacs will tear you apart!"

Brent: "That's just a risk I have to take. I won't be able to live with myself until I go back and give those idiots just what they gave me. I was bedridden for 8 months, getting fed through an IV. All I can say is those basterds should have killed me."

Chrysta: "Don't talk like that Brent. You don't have to do this. The Brent Gibson I know and love would see that this isn't the only way. There are other ways to get Vengeance."

Brent: (small laugh) " 'The Brent you know and love'?? The Brent you know and love is dead! (He pulls on a black mask and turns and stares at Chrysta and the camera.)  All that's left in that pathetic fool's place is The Hawk!"

(Chrysta shrinks away.)

Chrysta: "Get the hell out! I never want to see you in this house again."

(The Hawk looks at her sadly before picking up a duffel bag, turning around, and walking out the door.)

The scene changes to show The Hawk putting the duffel bag in a black truck. A cell phone is heard. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a phone answering it.

Hawk: "Yeah?"

Voice on phone: "Hey man. It's all taken care of. All that's left is for you to sign the paperwork and you'll be the newest member of the IWZ. I know you wanted DiWF, but this is the best I could do."

Hawk: "That's just fine man. Revenge has got to start somewhere."

Voice on phone: "Are you sure you want to do this? These guys are hell compared to what the Hi and DiWF threw at you. They're nothing like those pansies in the HWF or the ISOHK. These are fully conditioned, well-oiled fighting machines."

Hawk: "Even better. We'll show the world that the Hawk will accomplish everthing that that puny Brent Gibson couldn't handle."

(He hangs up the phone, gets in the drivers seat of the truck, and drives away, past a sign that says "Airport - 2mi.")

Camera fade.
