SAMPLE ROLEPLAY |
*The British
Legion theme hits the speakers and the rookie, Craig Wilkinson appears
at the entrance ramp, waving the British flag, high and proudly as he
walks to the ring. While near the ring, Wilkinson walks up the steel
steps and places his flag onto the turnbuckle. He then elegantly steps
through the middle rope and into the ring. He signals for a microphone
from the ring announcer, and then begins to speak.*
CW: Well. well. well. What do we have here? A federation named IWZ,
Internet Wrestling Zone. I must say, it's not very impressive, but I
guess it will have to do.
Taltito: What!? Who the hell is this guy anyway??
Rodz: I . don't know.
CW: I am greatly honoured to be back in the wrestling ring after a long
break in my oh so great career, and I can only hope that this IWZ can
offer me some talent and some competition in the ring.
Taltito: Great career? He only looks about 23, and I've never heard of
him before.
Rodz: Neither do I, but my mate Dave says he's good!
CW: And when I say competition in the ring, I don't mean all this
hardcore, extreme deathmatch rubbish, or these high flying, acrobatic
circus tricks. What I mean, is clean, solid, wrestling. Maybe you guys
have never heard of it, so I'll lay it down for you. Wrestling holds,
submission moves, old school suplexes, arm drags, and the rest. No Steel
Chairs, No Tables. You can keep you Swanton Bombs and yer 619's because
frankly, I don't believe in all that shit. It's all you Americans it is,
you have forgotten the REAL meaning of wrestling! Not like us Brits who
bust our ass off just to get a bloody try-out in this god forsaken
country!
The crowd start a familiar "U.S.A" Chant and begin to boo the british
newcomer.
Taltito: Who does this guy think he is, lecturing us on how we should
wrestle?
Rodz: I don't know, but I can't wait to see him in action, to see if
he's as good as he says he is!
CW: Now I know all you wrestlers in the back are thinking "Well, this
guy is just r a rookie, I'm not going to waste my time with him". Well,
to that I say come on out lads and prove me wrong! You better get used
to me being here because I aint going anywhere, can you can run but you
can't hide. So we will meet somewhere down the road, and you can bet
your arse there's a bloody hiding in store for you sunshine.
*Craig Wilkinson drops the microphone and picks up his British Flag and
makes his way to the back. The crowd is obviously pissed off by his
remarks and they boo him out of the arena.* |
